A talent day across four houses celebrated students breaking out of their shells to showcase talents. Events spanned age groups and highlighted teamwork, confidence and creativity.
Independence Day — 14 Aug 2014
We commemorated the 68th Independence Day with patriotic songs, dances, a unity‑themed skit and messages on the importance of freedom and responsibility.
Teachers Day — 5 Sep 2014
“Teaching is a work of heart.” Students expressed gratitude to teachers with dances, songs, games and heartfelt messages, making the day joyful for our second parents.
Sports Day — 13 Sep 2014
SFIS 5th Annual Sports Day featured formation dance, aerobics and a human pyramid, designed to demonstrate coordination, discipline and strength among students.
Favourite Day — 29 Oct 2014
Kindergarteners arrived with favourite toys, bags, dresses and snacks. The campus buzzed with sharing, playful games and music throughout the day.
Car Wash Day — 11 Nov 2014
Cleanliness and safety were highlighted as children learned bus parts and helped clean the school bus, splashing water while practicing responsibility.
Carnival — 15 Nov 2014
A fun‑filled campus carnival with game stalls, crafts, food stalls, jukebox, ghost house and fortune teller brought excitement and smiles to everyone.
Christmas — 23 Dec 2014
We thanked the Almighty for a wonderful year with carols, dances and a Christmas play. Santa surprised children with gifts and a joyful “Jingle Bells” dance.
Pongal — 13 Jan 2015
Families joined to celebrate nature in the traditional way with kolams and thorans. Staff prepared pongal; children chanted, sang folk songs, played traditional games and enjoyed sugarcane.
Father’s Day — 26 Jun 2015
Fathers visited Kindergarten classes for storytelling, rhymes and activity stations. The celebration ended with cards, gifts and shared smiles.
Mother’s Day — 10 Jul 2015
To honour mothers, children celebrated with songs, dances and games, gifting cards and tokens of appreciation.
