Our fun‑week full learn summer camp engaged our kids for a part of the day, strengthening confidence in communication, storytelling, reading, and empowering descriptive writing with an innovative approach. Children thoroughly enjoyed every single day; a novel experience for many first‑time SFIS learners.
Computer Science is a science of abstraction: creating the right model for a problem and devising mechanisable techniques to solve it. In club activities, students explored new knowledge and produced brilliant work.
SFIS joyfully celebrated and graduated our kindergarteners once again after a two‑year gap. The event was graced by our Correspondent Mrs. Mercy Latha, our Principal and Vice Principal. Kudos to our brave little shining stars.
SCIENCE CLUB – STEMINIZ provided a platform for students to realize scientific skills and fulfil their quest in doing science. Competitions across grades featured reasoning, model‑making and presentations. Best performers were honoured with medals and achievement badges.
To honour SFIS Admin staff, Drivers and Aunts, SFIS organized an enchanting cultural show on Friday, 18th March 2022.
A kindergarten project facilitating letter learning through hands‑on interactive centres. Children related objects and sounds to letters, choosing favourites to bring out phonics while creatively building vocabulary.
Storytelling, a core learning tool in our early years program, nurtured values and responsibility. Kindergarten students shared favourite stories from home, expressing themselves meaningfully in varied ways.
We celebrated the 73rd Republic Day on January 26, 2022 in line with the Covid‑19 restrictions of the Government of Tamil Nadu.
An engaging team activity promoted mental‑math strategies, calculations and collaboration. Students practiced integrity, empathy and communication while building critical and creative thinking.
Project‑based learning integrated technology and active strategies for Pre‑KG, Jr‑KG and SKG learners. Children presented outcomes confidently with demonstrations and resolutions, building ownership and creativity.
Virtual events featured Toy Town virtues – Costume Cameos, Fun with Art and Dance – with enthusiastic participation from parents and kindergarteners. Winners received certificates and were honoured by the Correspondent, Principal and Vice Principal.
Congratulations to Grade V student Hanumansai Vedantam for Olympiad International Gold Medals in English and Math, and Spell Bee International Gold Medal Topper.
SFIS celebrated the 75th Independence Day on Sunday, 15th August 2021 at 8:15 a.m. The celebration honoured the sacrifices of our Freedom Fighters and inspired pride and respect across the community.
Virtual Colors Day helped tiny tots identify, name and associate colours through day‑wise activities. Children showcased colourful creations and introduced craft art.
Welcoming our kids and appreciating parents, the day developed interpersonal skills and positive social interaction. Families shared screen‑capture collages and encouraging messages to support children’s confidence.
A virtual picnic encouraged family bonding through craft and storytelling. The event strengthened relationships and provided a safe platform for children to showcase talents alongside parents.
